Energy Sector

Energy sector

The projects cover all useful energy sources in africa: solar, biomass, wind, hydroelectric and thermal. priority is given to photovoltaic projects (grid and borehole) and waste-to-energy projects. for thermal projects, our preference is for natural gas-fired power plants and, to a lesser extent, heavy fuel oil.

WHAT WE PROPOSE

FINDING TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL PARTNERS FOR POWER PLANTS

The preferred financing method is boot (build, operate and transfer). the contracting company provides the financing, builds the power plant, operates it and transfers it after a certain number of years to the national electricity company (sne). the state usually grants a special concession for the duration of the operation, with tax benefits. the sne undertakes to buy all the energy produced (take or pay).

✓Project management

Amic-sa is equipped to ensure the operation of the power plants that the industrialists want to entrust to us.

✓THE STRUCTURING OF NATIONAL ELECTRICITY COMPANIES.

many NES in africa are structurally in deficit and thus cause load shedding with multiple economic and social consequences. to contribute to the resolution of this problem, Amic-sa has developed specific expertise aimed at carrying out assessment studies, restructuring and development plans and finding financial investors for NES.
